  6. THE WORLD BANK ANNUAL REPORT 2010 Fiscal Year Highlights In fiscal 2010, the World Bank Group committed $ 72.9 billion,distributed in credits, loans, grants, and guarantees.

  7. THE WORLD BANK ANNUAL REPORT 2010 Fiscal Year Highlights In fiscal 2010, IBRD committed $44.2 billion for 164 newoperations in 46 countries. IDA committed $14.5 billion for 190 new operations in 66 countries.

  8. THE WORLD BANK ANNUAL REPORT 2010 Fiscal Year Highlights Almost half of IDA lending, or $7.2 billion, went to Africa, reflecting the fact that half of the 79 countries eligible for IDA funding are situated on that continent.

  9. THE WORLD BANK ANNUAL REPORT 2010 Fiscal Year Highlights In fiscal 2010, Financial and Private Sector Development was the World Bank’s top theme recipient, with $17.7 billion in new commitments, an increase of over 80 percent compared with the previous year.
