  3. Now is the time to apply for C.J.S.F. membership for 2nd trimester. Applications are in the library. Remember you need to apply after every trimester! • Crazy Hair day is this Friday!! • Any 8th graders interested in purchasing a 8th grade t-shirt we have extra shirts for sale in the office for $15. • Congratulations to our Band. They earned an Excellent rating at the CMEA Festival yesterday. The judges noted the improvement from your Pre-Festival concert in February. Well done! • Colorguard – there will be a very quick meeting in the band room at break to discuss the spring schedule. Please see Mrs. Sigle at break today. • Attention all actors and actresses: • Your last chance to audition for the spring play is Friday beginning at 3:00 in the gym. • Remember, you must maintain a 2.0 GPA and have NO suspensions for the duration of the play in order to participate. • See Mrs. Pendergrass in room 4 at the beginning of break if you have any questions.

  4. Reminder: Friday, March 30th is the last day to turn in MESA applications for both 7th & 8th grade. This is your last chance to apply!!!! • Hey 7th graders!    It’s almost time to sign up for you electives for next year... and AVID needs some really GOOD prospects to fill our 8th grade AVID openings.  If you have goals of going to college and would like to have help in staying organized and being successful in school... AVID may be the right elective for you.  Flyers will be passed out this week...  so check it out!   If you are interested..  see Mrs. Johnson... to get an application or if you have questions.  :) • 7th graders interested in leadership applications are available in the office. They need to be turned in by Friday, March 30th. • Boy’s bathroom by the office will be closed until repairs are done. • This is your LAST CHANCE to purchase ID cards for year is March 30th. This is the last time Mrs. Chrisman will be ordering them. • SPORTS: None • At this time please stand and be respectful as your room representative leads your class in the flag salute.
