Goals for PIC Oklahoma • Increase number of successfully renewed medical cases by decreasing automatic case closures • Reduce “churning” of families who enroll in Medicaid but allow their eligibility to expire
Description • Data suggests that the majority of families are losing their eligibility because of their failure to comply • A yearly average revealed that 59% of the renewal cases in Muskogee County are being closed • Confusing client notices contribute to failure to complete eligibility process or understand benefits

Changes Implemented to Date In the last year, several statewide changes have been made to expedite the enrollment / renewal process. • Synchronize benefit review for multiple programs • Benefit review form revision • Unique recipient identifier • New E.D.S. computer system The planning process is just beginning and no changes have been made directly related to PIC Oklahoma.
