History of Rhodium • Rhodium was discovered in a platinum ore that was from South America in the year 1803 by William Hyde Wollaston. After he removed the platinum and the palladium, h was left with a red powder which he added hydrogen to giving him Rhodium.
Uses and Impact on Human life • Rhodium is used to make electrical contracts, furnace coils and aircraft spark plugs, also used to make jewelry.
