  2. Overview • Historically, our funding has limited us to smaller projects. All of these “low hanging fruit” type projects have now been accomplished and we need to move onto bigger projects. • WNTI has been an important source of funding for these larger native cutthroat trout restoration projects in Utah and surrounding states that share populations with Utah. • Ultimately, it is these larger projects to create metapopulations that will determine the long term success of our restoration efforts.
