How does it work? • This ignition interlock device is directly connected to an ignition system of the car or vehicle. • Before starting the car, driver has to submit a breath test through a tube joined to dashboard monitor.

BAC - Blood Alcohol Concentration • Blood Alcohol Concentration detects the level of alcohol during the breath test. • BAC helps to measure the units of mass of alcohol per volume of blood.
BAC level must be less than 0.02. but if it goes higher than the set level of BAC the car would not start. • This typically happens when men consume 5 or more drinks, and when women consume 4 or more drinks.
