  15. The University of Bahrain Business Incubation Centre strives to provide the infrastructure and technical support for viable knowledge-based business ideas. It is worth noting at this point that it is equally important to create a culture that encourages entrepreneurship that markets the entrepreneurial mindset so that UOB graduates will consider other career options beyond employment. The principal outcome of the centre is the graduation of competitive new business enterprises with growth potential that can compete in international markets. The Centre helps to nurture new business enterprises, enabling the development of marketable products and services that were realized a result of research and development spinoffs, as well as helping to establish successful business ventures. In addition to infrastructure support the centre conducts entrepreneurship training, education and awareness programs. The varied programs of the centre will support potential entrepreneurs realize their business ideas and existing incubator tenants advance their businesses. To achieve the Centre’s objectives, its activities are split into two divisions, the Small & Medium Enterprises (SME)-Incubation division and the Entrepreneurship division.
