  2. What is the United Nation? The United Nation is an international organization of nation states which deals with a wide range of international issues. Keeping the peace is one of the main responsibilities of the UN. It is there to keep the forces of disputing nations, or disputing groups within a nations, apart and to give what aid it can to civilians caught in the middle. The United Nations provides a meeting place where issues, and possible solutions, can be discussed.

  3. What Have The UN Done For The World? The United Nations are a very controversial group of people. Some say that they’re nothing but a waste of tax payer’s money, but others support them because of the good things they’ve done; like co-ordinating the eradication of smallpox in 1979 and averting war between England and Egypt over the Suez canal crisis in 1962. UNICEF is an agency of the UN and they have helped feed and educate millions of people around the world.

  4. What have UN done for Philippines? On the 6th of October 2009 Manila Philippians was stricken by back to back floods. Around 300 people were killed they named that tropical storm Ketsanathere was over 1 years worth of rain in a mere 12 hours . Soon after that a typhoon struck. Typhoon Parma struck killing an additional 16 people and causing a 120 million loss in crops 35000 people were evacuated. The UN world food program is asking for 26 mill in addition to the 74 mill donated by the appeal fund.So are they really doing enough? Well that’s your opinion.
