  1. Last year, more than 28,000 girls from around the country attended an Expanding Your Horizons conference, and now you can, too. The Northern Utah 2012 EYH conference is a one-day event where girls from grades 6 to 9 can learn about how fun math and science can be. • Participate in workshops taught by women in science and technology fields • Discover what it’s like to be a vet, a doctor or even a rocket scientist • Experience the fun of hands-on learning—design, build, measure, mix, launch, test, laugh and learn • Attend an exciting keynote session Save the date for EYH Northern Utah! Date: Saturday, November 3 Time: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Place: South Ogden Jr. High at 650 E Pleasant Valley Drive, South Ogden (this is near the Ogden Regional Medical Center, and just off the toll road on Adams) Registration opens September 24 and will fill up fast!
