PRO of HDV • It´s „cheap“ compared to broadcast HDTV • HDV equipment is compatible to DV • You don´t need special editing hardware • All editing programs will be able to edit HDV • Superb image quality when projected on big screens
CONTRA of HDV • New projection and presentation equipment is needed (expensive) • At the moment it´s not possible with a normal budget to mix two HDV videos from a VCR • You need very high processor power to use HDV material for visuals • Only Resolume is able to playback HDV video (at the moment)
