Jaundice By the end of this discussion you should be able to; • Differentiate between Hepatocellular, Obstructive and hemolytic jaundice • Investigate a patient presenting with the above types of jaundice • Diagnose acute hepatitis B and it’s natural course in adults • Diagnose and investigate chronic hepatitis B • Clarify significance of various markers of Hepatitis B • Diagnose Autoimmune hepatitis • Identify common causes of jaundice in our population
