Improvement & Growth– Reading & Writing • District 4th and 5th grade Reading scores are above statewide scores. • District 4th grade Writing scores are also above the statewide scores. • District 7th grade Reading proficiency rates increased 45% over last year, compared to statewide increase of 7%.
Improvement & Growths – Mathematics & Science • 7th grade Math proficiency rates increased by 24% over last year, compared to a statewide increase of 8% • 10th grade Science proficiency rates increased by 46% over last year, compared to a statewide increase of 14%
