Learning Literacy through Dance Abroad • A Masters of Music Education student is using a “Movement Alphabet” to teach her students the musical alphabet. • In London students created a “Grammar Dance” to learn different parts of speech.
Dancing Poetry • I created a unit entitled “Dancing Poetry” that fostered interdisciplinary learning in the subjects of Dance and Language Arts. • I used lesson plans from Artsedge to get ideas for my unit.
