Projects combine open BIM and LEAN Several client organizations defining demands for FM from BIM. Architects, consultant companies and contractors are implementing BIM on a large scale Priorities for summit Support the process of building stronger chapters. Continue the work with the an International User Group (IUG) based on Chapter/national user groups. Lower the entry level to “open BIM standards” for down-stream applications. Emphasize the importance of the IFD Library and the implementation of IFD in IFC software. Emphasize that implementation of IFC and rules for certification of software has to support users needs expressed by IUG.

  2. Major activities High focus on buildingSMART and BIM in real building projects User Group driven conference, 2nd September Focus on interdisciplinary agreements (IDM) and standard contracts. New strategy is implemented. Strong involvement in buildingSMART International User groups established to bring in the different needs and proposal for real projects. Working on establishing a User Group for Roads Interdisciplinary User Group Established. Strong focus on development and competence to further develop the industry
