  4. Purpose of Field Scoping Meeting as it was designed: • Division Led Meeting* • Alternatives Discussion or Decision • Constructability Discussion • Consistency in Decision Making • Efficiency by processing in mass* • Set Project Schedule

What Happens after the FSM? • 1 week - Completed Minutes and FSM Worksheet • 1 month – Set remainder of Schedule for Project based on: • Remaining Issues to work through • Moratoriums • Constructability Issues • Local Needs – harvest season, local events, school schedule, etc. • Work toward Alternate Selection if necessary • Alternate Selection Sets the Design in Motion • From Alt Select to Let is 30 months • Reaching Alternate Selection is critical to keeping the schedule.
