  5. How do ice layers show history of Earth’s climate change? • Concentrations of “greenhouse gases”, methane and carbon dioxide in the ice show temperature changes

Copy the definitions in red • A fossil is evidence of past life preserved in rock. • There are many different types of fossils and fossils of many different organisms. • The Fossil record is the complete collectionof fossils that shows how species and ecosystems change over time.
