  4. What Is Illegal Logging? • Illegal logging is a range of illegal activities related to forests ecosystems, forest industries, timber and non-timber forest products. • Workers • Processing facilities • Transportation • Harvest

  5. Ecological Impacts • Illegal logging affects both flora and fauna • Contributes to desertification • Loss of habitat from deforestation =one of the largest threats to endangered wildlife • Reduces ability to store carbon • Affects soil health through compaction, runoff, etc.
