Purpose • This course is the first in a series of four semester courses designed to teach students the theory and techniques of the various procedures that are part of a routine optometric examination of the visual system
Course Content • This course will consist of two major parts: • Lecture • Covers the theory and application of basic optometric procedures • Laboratory • Provides more specific information on how to perform the procedures as well as the opportunity to practice these skills under the supervision of knowledgeable instructors
Evaluation of Student Performance • Lecture • Attendance 10% • Homework/Quizzes 30% • Midterm 30% • Final 30%
