Do you know what sin is (1 John 3:4)? C. Do you know if you are guilty of sin? D. Can you identify sin in your life? E. Do you think you are in a lost condition? F. Old enough to lie, steal, cheat, lust, curse…? Sin

Do you believe that?

Question is not – could you write a page on each one, but: 1. Understand it enough to obey it? 2. Understand it enough to explain it to others?

About whether you will go to heaven...if die? B. Do you think you are in a lost condition now? (John 8:21; Rom. 6:23) C. If you are seriously thinking – good sign that either reached that point – or close to it.

  23. VI. Ready to Accept Responsibility A. Being a Christian is serious business 1. Not to be taken lightly 2. More important than school – education 3. More important than marriage B. When we are baptized – we make a change 1. We now walk in newness of life (Rom. 6:3-4) 2. We now strive to please God (Gal. 2:20) Responsibility

If You Are Old Enough To Be Baptized: • Old enough to live the Christian life • Old enough to say “no” to things Christians cannot do • Old enough to act like a Christian during worship • Old enough to engage in worship yourself • Pay attention to words of songs • Listen to the sermon • Follow the words of the prayers • Think about the sacrifice of Christ during the L.S.

  26. Is It Time For You? Is there sin in your life? Do you understand about Jesus? Do you believe? Have you repented? Seriously thinking about – soul? Ready for the responsibility?

  27. Maybe It Is Time For You • Ask if you desire to be baptized • Let everyone know of your desire • Ask you, “Do you believe Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God?” • Someone will assist you in getting ready • Taken under the water…
