  1. A Successful Gospel Meeting • Some question effectiveness of meetings • Reflection on the power of the gospel (Rom.1:16) • People still respond (1 Cor. 3:6-7) • One of several means used to reach the lost (Bible Correspondence Course, Home Study, Radio, Tracts, etc.)

  2. A Successful Gospel Meeting • Church Must Realize Its Responsibility • Each member do his/her part • Invite the lost, follow-up & encourage • Emphasize Bible preaching

  3. A Successful Gospel Meeting • Purpose • Save lost: Alien & erring Christian (Mt. 28:19-20; Jas. 5:19-20) • Edify church: feed, strengthen, encourage (Acts 14:22; 20:32; 1 Thess. 5:11) • Honor & Glorify God (Eph. 3:21)

(2 Tim. 4:2) For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. (1 Cor. 1:21)
