  2. Class notebook • 3-ring binder style with dividers Divider sections: Notes; Homework/classwork; Labs; Informational Handouts; Quizzes; Tests Bring this to class with you unless otherwise instructed. All papers should be hole punched and secured

  3. Lab Journal Should include: Do now assignments Warm-up assignments Labs Research Bring to class daily Reminders: Use pen only (except for diagrams) Each entry should be dated and entered into the Table of Contents Labs should include partner(s) name(s) Pages should be numbered

  4. Ecosystem Journal Includes: -Semi-monthly ecosystem observations -Special assignments associated with your ecosystem -Handouts related to the Ecosystem Project -Pictures, diagrams, and samples from your ecosystem Reminders: Checked twice per month: middle and end Use pen for entries Follow guidelines for entries Pages should be numbered

  5. Reminders for Making a Journal Entry Page number Date Partner(s) name(s) Centered Title Initial or sign Do not write on the left side Use pen and write legibly kp Misakes Mistakes should be crossed out with one line and initialed. NO wite out; NO scribbling
