Overview of New Resources Solutions CD – worked out solutions to the assignments Preparation and Practice Book - reproducible copy and teacher edition • This book is designed to support teachers in their work with students who struggle with math. • It parallels the textbook, but provides a lower entry point for weak students. • Handouts can also be used to review prior concepts and reinforce the course material.

Unit 3 – Rational Numbers Unit 3 Jigsaw Each teacher receives a number 1 – 6. Meet in a group with your common number. You have 10 minutes to go through your assigned section making note of the following: • Positive/Interesting features • Concepts/strategies that are new to teachers • Concepts that students may find challenging • Concepts that may require review
