  2. Supplies • Textbook • Scissors • Paper bag

  3. Steps: • Open the paper bag and set it on the table in front of you. • Cut down the back of the paper bag beside the seam. • Cut off the bottom of the bag. • Lay the bag out flat horizontal and find the fold at the bottom of the word HY VEE.

  4. Steps: • Press the fold all the way across the bag. • Set your textbook on top of the bag (perpendicular to the bag). • Measure the place for the next fold (1/8 inch larger that the size of the book) • Press the fold all the way across the paper.

  5. Steps: • Open front cover of the book and slide the bag over the cover like a sleeve. • Cut 5” off of the other end of your paper bag • Slide the other end of your paper bag over the back cover of your textbook. • Make sure the bag is tight enough to stay on but not so tight you can not close your book.

  6. POQ • Part of Question • To answer a question the best way is to put part of the question in your answer. • No pronouns allowed • No texting

  7. Examples • What is the color of Fred’s dog? • Fred’s dog is brown. • What time does the game start? • The game starts at seven.

  8. Examples • Greg has four apples and Jen has three. How many total apples are in the room? • In the room there are seven total apples. • List the shirt colors that are found in Fred’s closet. • The shirt colors that are found in Fred’s closed are red, green and blue.
