1.Government Policy On ICT Indonesia ICT policy is developed. Cyber Law:To protect all electronic information and transaction. To handle the miss-usage of IT like hacker etc. Community Access Point:To give opportunity to community in rural/remote area to get internet access.
WARMASI (Tele center for SMEs) Cooperate with Post office to empower SMEs in rural by using e-commerce for their enterprises. IT in Public Service Indonesia gov. also promote the use of IT in public service. Government Policy On ICT
‘Healthy Internet “ to promote the protection of children from the not good information Also promote the settlement “ring palapa” the cyber optic for the “cheap internet” access for more people to benefit ICT In education: JARDIKNAS the edunet for schools, has been used by thousands of schools in Indonesia. From above policies, people including children, women and also SMEs will get benefit from the opportunity and also protection in using ICT. The opportunity is so important to enable them to use ICT for their better future. Introduction of Gov. Policy
2. ADOC Center in Indonesia • ADOC center are in the same direction with our government policy by giving opportunity to Indonesian people to get ICT training. • The computers and other supporting tools which are given to children, women and SMEs are really a good strategy.
Obstacle:Language problem Mostly information in internet and also the good education software is in English. It is so difficult for a lot of poor children and women who cannot speak foreign language. To develop the language ability Using ICT to learn the language To find the software that can be used ADOC Center in Indonesia
Adhiet, 18 years old boy. Since he was small he must stayed in KDM orphanage. With the opportunity in learning computer, his talent in design is developed. Now, he get scholarship in learning Design in University of Multimedia. 3.Successful Stories
Yanto, 22 years old. When he was younger he cannot catch the education in the school well. When he was 16, he got opportunity to learn computer and also data security from our volunteer. His interest in computer is growth. He also mostly learn directly form internet. Successful Stories
Our volunteer said his ability few years ago is already similar like undergraduate student. Now he is going to the second year of his computer study in college in networking. He also has already worked in IT Company. Successful Stories
4.Future Perspectives of ADOC Center • The future plan of the ADOC center • Given to the more right target / beneficiaries • Collaborated with other local ICT provider in giving the opportunity to the needy people so the existence of ADOC has wider impact in Indonesia.
Has networking among ADOC Centers in one countries to exchange experience and also develop better strategy to run the center Giving more quantity of support so more people benefit the program. Future Perspectives of ADOC Center
Future digital opportunities for the trainees For the outstanding needy people (women, children, SMEs) get scholarship to continue study or get special course.
