Just Giving • Launched in 2001 • Enabled over 21 million people to raise £1.5 billion for over 13,000 charities • Benefits to charities include • Reach (13 million visitors) • Trust (All tools are pre-built) • Simplicity (Its easy! Gift Aid too!) • Benefits to fundraisers and donors • Raise money on fundraising pages • Raise money ‘In Memory’ of pages • Give to a project or charity • Regular Giving www.vedaconsulting.co.uk

How? • Code the Just Giving Data • You can code fundraising pages raising money against your events • Campaigns against event pages • Contact ID’s against fundraisers • Auto Coding links to Just Giving following event sign up in CiviCRM • Contribution Imports • Complicated process • Coding in Just Giving can take time www.vedaconsulting.co.uk

  10. Where Next? • Soft Credits • Soft Credit the Fundraiser is in place, needs configuration via code. Make this an easier process. • Just Giving API • Allows CiviCRM to pull and push data to Just Giving Directly, including payments files • Not 100% stable as yet, we’re working with Just Giving to help resolve issues • Migrate to CiviBanking • Extension based on code prior to CiviBanking • CiviBanking Logic built around same process of allocation • Better long term support • Watch out for MIH www.vedaconsulting.co.uk
