Faciliating sales for foreign markets even further could increase international sales for RZD trains - three suggestions 1) offering global price tickets for domestic and international trains • global price tickets contain ticket- and add-on part both in one • one whole ticket for the customer instead of (several) ticket(s) plus add-on: easy to sell, easy price communication – one price towards customer • already existing technical solutions (Hermes interface) can be used • Moscow-Paris and Moscow-Nice are already good examples for global price trains global price:ticket plus reservation all in one ticket(s) add-on , 22.10.2014

Faciliating sales for foreign markets even further could increase international sales for RZD trains - three suggestions 2) Overcoming technical obstacles in sales • separate allotments of places for foreign markets • different booking periods for starting and intermediate stations • harmonization of tarif codes, train number logic etc. • using UIC standards for implementing new solutions , 22.10.2014

Faciliating sales for foreign markets even further could increase international sales for RZD trains - three suggestions 3) opening new sales channels in foreign markets • e.g online-ticketing wiht homeprinted tickets, travel agencies • introduction of global price ticketing faciliates integration into new sales channels • adaption of the „home-market-principle“ eases sales and helps to promote products: different pricing policy for different countries , fitting into the general tarif environment of the respective countries , 22.10.2014
