Status of Implementation Plan(1st Phase) Institute of Food Sciences & Technology • One Associate Professor and Three Lecturers were appointed. • One faculty member completed three months short training at University of Putra Malaysia. • Two Technical Staff members are nominated for short training at South China Agriculture University China. • Twenty research papers has been published in HEC recognized journals. • Institute has provided training to local community through NAVTEC program. • Linkages with different industries has been established. • The proposal for the construction of two classrooms, one food chemistry lab and one food microbiology laboratory has been forwarded to SAU authorities.
