  5. Implementation StatusInitial Connectivity • Carlsbad Area Office - Local Exchange Carrier has provided Sprint with a delivery date of January 2001 for a circuit into Carlsbad.

  6. Implementation Status -DS-3 Circuits Upgrades • Idaho Operations Office - On hold • NREL/Golden - On hold • Ohio Field Office - On hold

  7. DOEnetDesign Review • Evaluating Carrier Recommendations • Reduce PVC Size/potential cost savings • Deliver full T-1s or bundled T-1s where DS-3s cannot be justified • Add traffic to the network • Actions to “right size” network
