NTV User Guide How to book Italo in Euronet?
Key concepts - 1 • NTV trains, Italo, are available • from the ERP Inventory • in all modes of Euronet • Search by Price • Search by Schedules • Advances Search • Manual Mode • Italo trains are easily recognisable in Euronet • Italo train type is "NTV" • You can find it in the "train type" column and in the "solution details" pop-up • In the below example, EAV defines Trenitalia's Frecciarossa train
Key concepts - 2 • The "Solution Details" pop-up is useful to check the seat availability • Click on the train to get this pop-up box • Maximum availability is 15 seats in "Prima" and 30 seats in "Smart" ambiences • Trains will no longer display if there is not more availability • AP corresponds to Prima and BP corresponds to Smart
Key concepts - 3 • Individual seat assignment • ID/Passport control can take place on-board • Each traveller must have his own individual ticket • You have to assign one traveller to each selected fare • You cannot use the "Lead Name Only" possibility
Ticketing • Italo tickets are available as Print @ Home ONLY • At time of printing (buttons “Q-Print” or “Print Now”), the following pop-up box displays • Pay extra attention when you enter the email address as • it will be only asked once, • this is the email address to which the Italo P@H ticket will be sent • Only ONE email address can be entered, even if there are several travellers in the booking • Traveller will receive the NTV tickets in a separate email, within 2 working days from booking date. This/these tickets will be the only document valid for travel • Important: please note that, for technical reasons, the ticketing option to be selected in Euronet when booking NTV tickets is "E2 Paper". No paper ticket will print, but as usual, a Booking Summary / Proforma invoice will print.
Ticketing • If the booking contains a NTV ticket and another P@H product • After confirming the products, when clicking on “Q for Print”/”Print Now”: • The generic “P@H pop-up box” will display • You can either enter traveller’s email address, or your email address (then don’t forget to send the email to you traveller) • The email address entered in this pop-up box will be used to send the Italo P@H ticket • As usual, the email received from rea.pah.from@raileurope.com will not be a valid for travel • The Italo P@H ticket will be sent in a separate email, within 2 working days from the booking date. This/these tickets will be the only document valid for travel
Travel Documentation • The Italo P@H ticket • is the ONLY document valid for travel • The pro-forma invoice/booking summary is not valid for travel • The email received from rea.pah.from@raileurope.com(in case of several P@H tickets booked together) is not valid for travel either • is sent within 2 working days from the booking date • contains • The PNR Reference • Departure and arrival stations • Dates and hours • Placement information • Note that placement information on the Italo ticket can differ from the information in Euronet. The information on the Italo final email is the only one to be considered.
