  4. Prom Rules 2014 All students attending the prom must complete the PROM CONTRACT (NO EXCEPTIONS). The Prom guest form must be completed to purchase a ticket for the student who does not attend DAPSS. Students who have been dismissed from DAPSS or sent to alternative schools cannot attend the prom without permission of the Head of School. Any DAPSS Student attending prom must be present at school on May 9th, 2014 from 7:20am-11:45am. The early dismissal for students for prom is 11:45am. No earlier dismissals will be accepted.
  5. Prom Rules 2014 No Alcohol, drugs, or smoking of any kind is permitted at the Prom. Students are responsible for the behavior of their guests. DAPSS will not tolerate the use and/or possession of drugs or alcohol. Students who do not comply with the rules will be removed from Prom and parents will be contacted immediately.
  6. Prom Rules 2014 The Prom is a formal occasion. Students are expected to dress in formal attire, to behave with formal manners and dance appropriately. DAPSS may refuse admittance to any student or guest not dressed properly.
  7. Dress Code Guidelines Ladies: Elegant Gowns Gentlemen: Tuxedos MORE SPECIFIC……..
  8. A gown should be at least at ankle’s length and no shorter than mid-thigh; finger tip length! Inappropriate Appropriate
  9. Necklines must be modest; not plunging (Thumb-collar bone rule) Inappropriate Appropriate
  10. Dresses may not have a slit that exceeds mid-thigh-roughly finger tip length. Inappropriate Appropriate
  11. Dresses may be backless, but may not cut below the navel. Inappropriate Appropriate
  12. Dresses may not be cut below the bust line at the sides. With arms down at your side, if flesh touches flesh below the bust line, it does not meet code. Inappropriate Appropriate

  18. WHAT ABOUT SHOES?You are not allowed to remove your shoes at PROM.
  19. A Few More Items No pinning of dresses to bring the dress up to code. No undergarments should be visible. Gentlemen are not permitted to wear hats to the prom unless it is a formal top hat. Shirts are to be worn and tucked in at all times.
