Property tax on vacant land(residential): Plot size Rate (in Rs per sq yard) Up to 100sq yards Exempted 101-500sqyards Rs 0.50 per sq yard 501 sq yardsandabove Re 1 per sqyard Rebates for the payment of propertytax 100% rebate provided to owners of the self-occupied residential homes, who are serving the defense/ parliamentary force personnel and ex-service/ ex-paramilitary force personnel or her/his spouse.
