  2. Sedimentary Rock • Sedimentary rocks are made of sediments. • Sedimentary rocks are cemented together. • Sedimentary rocks are used for buildings ,trim, monuments & park benches. • The sediments are clay, silt, sand& gravel.

  3. Igneous Rocks • Rock that forms when melted rock materials hardens makes igneous rock. • Sometimes magma makes it to the surface before hardening . • Igneous rocks are melted magma.

  4. Metamorphic Rocks • Metamorphic rocks are formed by heat and presser from another rock. • The minerals in Slate, which is a type of Metamorphic rock, are packed so tightly together that water cannot seep through . • Certain types of coal are Metamorphic Rock.
