Thomas Edison, Beginning a new life • December, 1871, Thomas Edison married a young woman. Her name was Mary Stillwell. • She gave birth to Marion, Thomas Jr., and William Edison. • August, 1884, Mary Stillwell died because of a bad sickness. • A year later, he met, another young woman.
