  2. What does a HR department do? HR specialists are manage recruiting, screening, interviewing and placing candidates. They may also maintain employee relations, payroll, advantages, and training. Human resources managers plan, direct and arrange the administrative functions of an organization.

Daily job duties of human resources specialists consist of : assemble or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating. Describing human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees. Assure new hire paperwork is completed and processed.
