Agenda • Overview of NJ SMART SID Management • View and Download SIDs • Manage Records • Errors • Correct data in records with errors • Clear SID and resubmit record • Disputed • Resolve records that are also claimed by another district • Release a disputed SID • Issued • Change the status of a record from Active to Inactive • Unresolved • Query records for matches • Change data in records • Request a new SID or a SID Association • Clear SID and resubmit record

  3. Key Facts • NJ SMART Portal opened for SID Management on March 24th • A SID management User Guide is currently posted on the DOE website • All Districts and Charter Schools must complete SID Management by April 18th

  6. View SIDs 1 – Filter your report to view a particular group of students 2 – Select a format to export your student data 1 2

  9. Clear a SID: Unresolved & Errors • Click on the Records with Errors or Unresolved Records link

  10. Clear a SID and Resubmit the Record • Click View Details for the record you would like to resubmit

  14. Errors: Correct Data in Records with Errors • Click on the Records with Errors link

  17. Disputed: Resolve Records Claimed by Another District • Click on the Disputed Records link

  18. Disputed: Resolve Records Claimed by Another District • Do Research • If the student is active in your district, click Dispute Resolved • If the student is inactive in your district, click View Details

  24. Issued: Change Record from Active to Inactive • Click on the Issued Records link

  28. Unresolved: Query Records • Click on the Unresolved Records link

  29. Unresolved: Query Records • Click on View Details for the record you are interested in resolving

  32. Unresolved: Query Records • Click on the SID to view details on a possible match

  33. Unresolved: Query Records • See details on a possible match and print the screen

  35. Unresolved: Query Records • When you request a new SID, you will see this message and must click OK to proceed
