  2. There is more than one way to understand the structure of the brain. It has two hemispheres with separate functions, bridged by the corpus callosum; It has three main parts- the brain stem, cerebellum, and cerebral cortex; The cerebrum has four lobes with specific functions.

  3. If you looked at it from the top down, you would see it has two halves, or sides. These are called hemispheres.
