More about the model T • Most common car is the model T Ford, attracted buyers not so much for its often exaggerated durability as for its low purchase price and cheap maintenance, almost anyone could repair their own car • they had no water pumps, as a result , the oil thinned out at high speeds and caused the pistons of the main bearing of the engine to burn out
