  4. How do I prepare for a debate? • Study both sides (strengths/weaknesses) • Notes (note cards) • Strong opening • Powerful closing • Believe in what you are saying! Passion/Enthusiasm! • Dress for success! What does a good debate look like? Sound like? What would a good debate leave the audience doing?
