  2. About US Akshara Yoga School is a place dedicated to the impartment of yoga education, learning and experience. Akṣara is the saṁskṛta word for the imperishable, denoting the eternal and immutable Ātman, the unchanging dimension of absolute silence in man. Awareness of the changeless in the changeful has been the quintessence of Indian spiritual lore and Yoga specializes in glorifying the paradigm of non-change. Yoga has a systematized approach in enabling the practitioner to reach towards increasingly calmer and quieter layers of mind. This culminates in the full realization of silence within one’s own awareness.

  3. FOUNDATION FOR SPIRITUALITY Spirituality is the basis of yoga. We are not just this physical body but have progressive finer dimensions of vital force, mind, and intellect. Our true personality lies beyond the dynamic transactions of body, mind, emotions and intellect; the Pure Consciousness.

  4. QUALITY OF LIFE Our school offers many ways for living a high quality of life. Enjoy every day fresh organic vegetarian meal with major ingredients produced in our own farm. Cow milk an important component of yogic diet is available fresh and nutritious from our dairy farm.

AUTHENTIC YOGA The word Yoga is derived from the saṁskṛta root word of ‘yuj’ which connotes to the two meanings of yoga as: YujSamādhau or yoga is concentration and YujirYoge or yoga is union.Yoga is that which takes us either to concentration or union. The system of Indian philosophy like Vedānta and Yoga are concrete and systematic ways to the realization of these two meanings. The goal of Haṭha yoga is to facilitate us in finding that point of concentration or union.
