  2. Who is affected? • Dually accrediting ST trainees AND • NTN number gained between August 2007 and July 2009 – should be ST5 or above • It does not affect you if you did a LAT post prior to August 2009 before getting your NTN OR • Your NTN number started from August 2009 onwards

  3. Process • You may have applied to JRCPTB to transfer • Now JRCPTB just require a list of trainees who we have agreed to transfer • THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE! • JRCPTB do NOT want to see GIM transfer proformas

  4. GIM transfer proformas • An aide memoire as to what you have left to achieve in GIM • At your PYA you will need to show you are on course for: • Numbers of patients seen on acute take – 1000 over training period • Numbers of new GIM outpatients – 450 over training period • Number of follow-up GIM outpatients – 1500 over training period • Evidence of GIM training day attendance – 3.5 days per year average (expect 17.5 for most trainees) • Endorsement of all competences on 2009 GIM curriculum • Minimum number of GIM WPBAs – 4 CbD, 4 mini-CEX, 6 ACAT each year (for minimum of 3 years out of training period) • as well as appropriate audits and a minimum of 2 MSFs, current ALS certificate • BUT OP requirements are likely to change • Logbooks are NOT mandatory but recommended: your patient number estimates will need endorsing each year by your supervisor
