3. Being a Meeting Hog Don’t Talk just to Talk
Leaders should steer the meeting in the right direction
Participant should join in the conversation, Leaders should encourage participation
Leaders should manage those who are being rude-no put downs- Don’t tolerate disrespectful behavior
Leader: Notice Chit Chatting? Ask if there is a question or concern Steer meeting back to the issues
Don’t make others look bad Don’t discredit other’s ideas Be professional when you disagree
Ideally there should be no cell phones in meeting No Talking on cell phone during meeting Place phone on vibrate and as a courtesy, leave meeting to speak on the phone

Hold on to materials received Leader should summarize and answer any questions
