BUDGET ESTIMATES FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION OF WAUSTECH FOR THE NEXT 10 YEARS (I) Estimated Capital Expenditure: The total estimated funds needed for the land purchase and preparation, construction of central administration block, classrooms and laboratories, hostels and other essential utility buildings for 10 years is N11.09 billion (US $69.3 million). About N6.61 billion (US $41.3 million) is needed within the next two years (Table a). (ii) Estimated Operational/Recurrent Expenditure: The total estimated fund needed for the operational and recurrent expenditures which include staff salaries and allowances; maintenance; purchase of vehicles; furnishing and traveling, for 10 years is N25.47 billion (US $159.19 million) of which N3.85 billion (US $24.1 million) is needed within the first two years (Table b). (iii) Estimated Revenue: The total revenue to be realized from Tuition fees, primary and secondary investors, sales of forms, consultancies and rentals are N71.05 billion (US $444.1 million, while N13.3 Billion (US $83.1 million shall be realized after five years of operation (Table c)
