Sentence • Formally- Tonight I will be attending the ball and I most put on something formal. • Formerly- I formerly fell and scraped my elbow, it looked every disgusting. But now its almost gone.
Mnemonic • Formally- Remember formally by its definition which is following strict rules. The double ll in following is also in formally. • Formerly- You can remember the word formerly by its definition also which is previously. The “erly” sounds like “early” which means before.
