Week of April 14: Poetry Tuesday, Apr. 14 All classes--Computer Lab • Thought for the Week: • “Luck is a matter of preparation meeting opportunity.” --Oprah Winfrey • When you come in-- • Take out your: • Animal Farm study sheets (blue) and • printed song lyrics (or print them out AS SOON AS YOU COME IN). • Put your name and the period on them, and put them where indicated on the table. • 2. Animal Farm: • Take the Accelerated Reader test online • On sheet of scratch paper, take the test provided—write the letters/answers only.

Week of April 14: Poetry Wed., Apr. 15-- Pd. 1,2,6,7 • Thought for the Week: • “Luck is a matter of preparation meeting opportunity.” --Oprah Winfrey • Bell Work: When you come in--Take out your Poetry #3 handout • On a sheet of notebook paper, write your name, today’s date, and the period in the upper right hand corner. • Write “The Raven” on the top line and E.A. Poe underneath it. • Read the 1st three stanzas (verses) of the poem (pg 527 in lit book) • List each of the following terms and locate one example of as many as you can—write the example next to the term. (Write N/A if you cannot find one.)
