  2. What is VEA? • VEA is stands for VERITAS Enterprise Administration of VERITAS Volume Manager. In short this is Product from Symantec for Storage Virtualization from OS Level.

  3. Software's Required for the LAB • Storage Foundation Latest version • Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2012 • Vmware Workstation for Creating Virtual Machines • StarWind ISCSI SAN

  4. What I need to Build My Home LAB? Server 01 (Active Directory ) + Install StarWind for Acting as ISCSI SAN in a Network StarWind ISCSI SAN Server 03 Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2012 Server 02 and Server 03 for installing Storage Foundation for Windows and connect Storage from ISCSI Initiator – best method would be Join the machines to the domain and install the VEA and then mask the storage to the Server. Server 02
