Presentation Overview • 15-20 minute time frame • Report should be as of the end of Round 8 • Two parts • Shareholder reporting • Lessons Learned & Plans for the Future • Must turn in a printed copy of the slides to your GTA (notes – 3 frames per sheet) • You may give handouts to the ‘shareholders’ (not required) • Both Oral & Written Reports in the Same Format
Presentation Requirements • Introduction • Outline of presentation • Company Overview • Strategies • Mission Statement and Corporate Strategy • Business Strategy: What is your generic strategy? How did you execute your strategy? Who are your direct and indirect competitors? • Functional Strategy: What was your strategy in the R&D, Marketing, Operations, Finance, HR, TQM, and Labor Negotiations? How did you integrate these areas to execute your strategy?
Presentation Requirements • Financial Highlights (use all applicable to tell your story, explain what measure examines) • Must present at least 3 performance measures used in simulation; may add other positive financials as desired, including: • Profitability Ratios • Liquidity Ratios • Equity Ratios • Use your company & industry stats • Conclusion/Wrap Up of pertinent information • Lessons Learned- Can step out of the box, what did you learn as students & execs • Plans for the Future- SWOT analysis & TOWS extrapolation
Presentation Evaluation • Introduction • Main points • Clearly stated • Supported by evidence/reasoning • Logically organized • Visual aid usage • Conclusion • Vocal skills • Dress
