Olive Ridleys are side neck turtles and closely related to crocodiles and birds
-Marine Turtle Specialist Group (MTSG) says that there has been a 50% reduction in population size since the 1960s, and although their have been some small raises in population in nesting areas, the population is still in trouble. Extrinsic Reason for endangerment: dogs,jackals, hyenas, sea gulls, pedestrians. Intrinsic reasons: They have to nest on land and the hatchlings have to find their way to the ocean.
