Pluto • This is the amazing project of Pluto. How much do you know about Pluto. I bet I know more than you but after this you should know more than me!!
My three focus Questions • Who do you think discovered Pluto • What are some characteristics of Pluto • What was Pluto named after.
Who do you think discovered Pluto? • Well lets find out. On February 18,1930 Clyde W. Tombaugh discovered Pluto. When he discovered Pluto he was in Arizona.
Who do you think discovered Pluto? • Pluto was known for our 9th planet for 7 decades. Percival Lowell thought their might be another planet by Neptune and Uranus.
What are some characteristics of Pluto? Pluto is 1,400 in diameter (rounded). Pluto is around -356 degrees Fahrenheit. Pluto's color is like a tannish color.
What was Pluto named after? • Pluto was named after the roman god of the underworld. Pluto was named planet X for awhile. The names for Pluto were Pluto, Minerva , and Cronus.
What was Pluto named after • In other languages it was Yama the guardian of Hell in Buddhistmythology.
My reflection • I picked Pluto because it didn’t seem normal to me so I wanted to do something that wasn’t normal and not a planet. • The most surprising thing I learned from researching Pluto was that Pluto was known for our 9th planet for 70 years. • If I had another space project in the future I would probably not do pluto because I learned a ton of information this time but when im older I would want to research more of our solar system!
