  2. Introduction • Switzerland, A nice and sunny place to be(: • Anyway.. Switzerland is a small country, takes around 2 hours from east to west to enter and leave the country. • This small country has major effects in Europe though, it helped a lot with the creation of the UN a.k.a. The United Nations.

  3. Populace • The total population is 7,639,961 • 65% of the populace is German ethnic but the second highest is 18% is French ethnic. • This small country has A LOT of freaking languages.. Like forreals!! It has German, French, Italian, Romansch(which idk what this is..So don’t ask) and.. That’s it .. 4 seems a lot though!!

  4. Geographic • Well.. This country happens to be in central Europe, east of France.. (47 00 N, 8 00 E) [coordinates]

  5. Government • Name: Swiss Confederation • It’s a formally a confederation but similar in structure to a federal republic. • Capital: Bern [46 57 N, 7 26 E] • Independence from Spain  1 August 1291

  6. Economy • Switzerland is like the little kid that stays away from trouble, it’s a very peaceful country, prosperous, and has a modern market with low unemployment. • Unemployment rate : 3.9%

  7. Transportation • 65 Airports • 1 Heliports • 4,876 km Railways • 71,454 Roadways

  8. Military • Military Branches: Swiss Armed Forces, Swiss Air Force • Between 19-26 years of age, every male has to service at least 260 days in the armed forces. Females can join if willing. • Conscripts receive 18 weeks of mandatory training, followed by seven 3-week training recall during the next 10 years.
