Team RulesContinued Participation on the team depends on the following… • Maintain Good Grades - Get your work done on your time, not team time. You are a student-athlete now, you must manage your time so that academics nor athletics will suffer. • 2 F’s = PIAA Regulation - 1 week suspension from the team. No practice, no game, no involvement with the team • 1 F = 1 week of practicing but no game. • Character – Make good choices and do what you are supposed to do on the field, in school, and in life. • You are representing Arcola, your team, your family, and yourself. Make all of them look good. • If you don’t, Coach Mayan WILL find out! • Effort - Nothing less than 100% effort is acceptable on this team. Alll Day, All Game, All Season! On the field, in school, in life. 4. Attendance – Don’t miss practice. See #’s 1, 2, and 3 above. Missed practice time = Missed game time. 5. Dependable Transportation Home • Practice days: • Your ride should be at Arcola by 5:00 pm waiting for you. • Rides must arrive no later than 5:15 pm. If your ride is late, you will owe the team time. • Home Games: 5:30 pm. Rides should be at Arcola before the bus returns. • Away Games: 6:00 pm. Rides should be at Arcola before the bus returns. • Car pooling with teammates is a good solution to any transportation issue. • Coaches will stay until all team members are picked up.
